Aspetti generali
La International School “Ergonomics of Posture and Movement” è stata istituita come espressione di uno dei principali obiettivi dello statuto dell’Unità di Ricerca Ergonomia della Postura e del Movimento di Milano: la diffusione di conoscenze, la formazione e l’addestramento. Questo obiettivo si concretizza nella promozione e conduzione di programmi didattici e di momenti formativi dedicati alle diverse figure professionali coinvolte nel campo della prevenzione dell’ergonomia e della salute occupazionale.
La International School “Ergonomics of Posture and Movement” affronta le seguenti attività in relazione allo scopo generale di migliorare la salute e i luoghi di lavoro:
- uso dei risultati di ricerche e di attività sul campo, in ergonomia e in salute occupazionale, come materiale per la costruzione di corsi dedicati alla prevenzione e gestione del rischio da sovraccarico biomeccanico in ambiente lavorativo
- sviluppo di strumenti di calcolo semplificati (simple tools), strumenti cartacei e software per le applicazioni sul campo, dedicati a semplificare le tecniche di valutazione e gestione del rischio di sovraccarico biomeccanico.
- sviluppo di corsi strutturati ma flessibili, perché dedicati a differenti figure professionali in campo preventivo.
- attivazione di nuove scuole presso istituzioni sia pubbliche che private, in differenti paesi del mondo.

General aspects and aim
The International School “Ergonomics of Posture and Movement” has been created in fulfillment of one of the main statutory purposes of EPM research Unit-Milan: diffusion of knowledge, teaching and training which consists in promoting and carrying out programs of education and training devoted to different operators involved in prevention, ergonomics and occupational health.
The International School “Ergonomics of Posture and Movement” , performs the following activities in relation to the more general aim of improving the health and work condition:
- use of research and best practices results in ergonomics and occupational health as materials for training activities devoted to the prevention and management of biomechanical overload conditions at work.
- development of simple tools, work sheet and software for field application, suitable to simplify the technical assessment and risk management of biomechanical overload
- development of structured training courses devoted to different professionals in the world of prevention
- setting up new schools at private facilities and public institutions in the world including teachers formation
